Shadow Days at Credo

Shadow days take place on Wednesdays and Thursdays and include a meeting and tour for parents/guardians to attend during the morning of the shadow day. We begin taking reservations for shadow days at the end of August. Please complete this Shadow Day Request Form or call Jodi Boyle at (707) 794-6004.

Preparation
This application has sections for both a parent or legal guardian and the student to complete. It should take approximately one hour to finish provided the student essay is ready to be uploaded (essay directions below). Before starting this online application, you will need to have the following documents available electronically:
• If the student resides within the Cotati Rohnert Park Unified School District, a copy of a utility bill as proof of address
• Student essay (see directions below)
• If the student is transferring from another high school, a copy of the student’s transcript or a grade report showing all high school classes, grades and credits is recommended for advising purposes only.
We suggest that you begin the application when you know you will have enough time to complete it. Your browser may deactivate the connection to our application should you leave it open for an extended period of time.
For Credo High School to consider a student for enrollment, this application must have at least one California address, be fully completed (responses/attachments may not be emailed separately), and be submitted by clicking the Submit button at the end of the form.
Student Essay Prompt and Directions
Please note that the contents of this essay will not be used to judge your academic performance or competency in any way and is not the basis for a preference if a lottery is held; it is just to demonstrate your interest in attending Credo. Contact us if you have a disability that prevents you from completing this requirement.
Prompt: What is important to you to have as part of your high school experience and why would you like to attend Credo?
Directions: Your essay should be 750 words, or three typed, double-spaced pages. If handwritten, please write clearly, double space, and use blue or black ink. At the end of your essay, please date and type your name to indicate that the writing is wholly your own. Name the file: firstname.lastname. The essay will be uploaded at the end of the application.
Lottery
Should there be more applicants than spaces available, Credo assures equal access to enrollment by using a random lottery. In accordance with our charter, enrollment preferences are as follows:
• Children of founding families
• Children of Credo High School faculty
• Siblings of enrolled students
• Students who have/will graduate from a K-8 Public Waldorf school
• All other students
Within each of these categories, students who reside in the Cotati Rohnert Park Unified School District (CRPUSD) have priority. For the full text of enrollment preferences, please see the Credo High School Charter on our website.
